You will also engage with employers to address skill shortages, promote inclusive hiring practices, and develop strategies to create job opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Your relationship-building skills and passion for making a difference will have a significant impact on the lives of our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in Employment or Human Services, as well as a proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively. Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disabilities, injury, or health conditions is essential. Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans, excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities- Source and create career opportunities for individuals with disabilities, matching them to suitable and sustainable roles.
- Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
- Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
- Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
- Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
- Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
- Promote our organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
