Employment Facilitator Role

As an Employment Facilitator, you will collaborate closely with participants to explore their career aspirations, build confidence, and provide them with the necessary support for meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Promote inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
  • Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote your organization as a trusted provider supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion your organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

You will be a passionate advocate for the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities, injury, or health conditions. You will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About You:
  • Experience or passion for employment services.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
  • Current Driver's License - essential.

The successful applicant will be required to provide and undergo pre-employment checks including but not limited to a current criminal record check, working with children check, NDIS Worker Screen Clearance, employment history, driver's license and referee checks.
