Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Strategic Commercial Manager to join our newly created Australian SMB team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for portfolio management and driving SMB commercial initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Promote Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth for the SMB segment.
- Drive Performance: Monitor performance through the user journey, analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, support, risk, finance, and in-market leaders to prioritize and execute program deliverables.
- Cultivate Customer Focus: Understand the end-to-end customer journey and use qualitative and data-driven insights to segment, measure, and optimize the performance of growth initiatives.
- Stay Informed: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to product growth and user acquisition.
Your Background
- Strong Business Acumen: Experience at the forefront of the B2B sector with a passion for serving SMBs in an innovative and global environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and influence large cross-functional teams to a clear outcome.
- Data-Driven Insights: Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics while not losing sight of details.
- Strategic Thinking: Combination of strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong customer focus, naturally including customer perspective in plans, decisions, and actions.
About You
You should have:
- 6+ years working in a business strategy or commercial management capacity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a natural talent for crafting and presenting compelling recommendations at C-level.
- Experience from consulting in the technology, fin-tech, or payments space will see success.
Salary Information
We estimate the salary range for this role to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your location and experience level.
