
Ultrafast Material Scientist

We seek a highly motivated researcher to study the interaction of light and matter in graphene metamaterials. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to explore the physics of ultrafast phenomena and contribute to groundbreaking research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments using ultrafast laser spectroscopy to understand the mechanisms of light absorption and thermalization in graphene metamaterials.
- Design, simulate, fabricate, and measure graphene metamaterials with strong light-matter interactions.
- Collaborate with a team to develop innovative thermoradiative devices that can harness energy from the environment.
Qualifications:
- A PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Research experience in ultrafast science is essential.
- Experience in designing and/or fabricating metamaterials, graphene, and other 2D materials, as well as electronic and optoelectronic device measurements, is desirable.
