Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team in Port Macquarie. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance and groundskeeping tasks across designated sites.


The role plays a crucial part in supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality service. With a strong focus on service, the Landscaper will operate equipment safely and perform all necessary duties to create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment for clients. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming, spraying, cleaning, and other tasks related to the upkeep and design of external and internal landscapes.


About the Role
  • Perform general works and maintenance programs e.g. mowing, general grounds work, grounds cleaning activities as identified in the Grounds Maintenance Program
  • Irrigation reticulation repairs and installations as required
  • Ensure works programs are maintained to the level as set per contract specifications
  • Ensure the safety of personnel and public is maintained
  • Represent the company by maintaining high levels of customer service and assist with any additional duties and requests from guests, representatives and employees.
  • Use safe manual handling techniques, practice safe work habits following ISS health, safety and environment policies.
  • Wear protective clothing provided where necessary and take a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Good knowledge in gardening (Mowing, weed spraying, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a similar role / contract
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent work ethic with pride in workmanship
  • Sound time management skills, self-motivated and organised
  • Must be able to provide a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
