Grounds Maintenance Opportunity

This is a role where you will be working in a grounds maintenance team to perform various tasks.

The primary responsibilities include performing maintenance and groundskeeping tasks across designated sites. This position supports our commitment to delivering high-quality service. The successful candidate will operate equipment safely and perform duties to create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of external and internal landscapes, including mowing, trimming, spraying, cleaning, etc.
  • General works and maintenance programs, e.g., irrigation reticulation repairs and installations as required.
  • Ensuring works programs are maintained to the level set per contract specifications.
  • Ensuring the safety of personnel and public is maintained.
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing our company by maintaining high levels of customer service and assisting with any additional duties and requests from guests, representatives, and employees.
  • Using safe manual handling techniques and practicing safe work habits following health, safety, and environment policies.
  • Wearing protective clothing provided where necessary and taking a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of gardening practices (mowing, weed spraying, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a similar role or contract.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent work ethic with pride in workmanship.
  • Sound time management skills, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Ability to provide a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
