About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Sales Acquisition to join our team at Menulog Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our national sales acquisition team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives in line with our global strategy and relevance to the Australian market.
  2. Manage Sales Targets and Team Performance: Manage sales targets and lead employees to individual and communal success.
  3. Optimize Sales Tools and Data Insight: Optimize the use and full potential of all sales tools and data insight to drive effective performance in the sales process and the sales team.
  4. Provide Strategic Insights: Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to local and global leadership teams on sales activities.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to fully activate our restaurant partners to drive brand awareness and order growth in every territory.
  6. Review and Improve Sales Strategies: Constantly review the effectiveness of sales strategies, processes, and tools, identifying and implementing solutions to problems to ensure maximum productivity and success of the sales team.
  7. Analyze Market and Competition: Use data and reporting to analyze the market and competition and create strategic steps in accordance with this analysis.
Leadership of the ANZ Sales Acquisition Team
  1. Manage the Acquisition Sales Team: Manage the Acquisition Sales team consisting of Field and Inside sales ensuring we deliver the business's supply goals of both quantity and quality of restaurant estate.
  2. Build and Develop the Sales Team: Build, manage, develop, and inspire the sales team. Work with your team to plan and prioritize their workloads, set objectives, conduct performance reviews, develop their skills, and seek to continually improve their performance, results, and engagement.
  3. Provide Ongoing Support and Development: Provide ongoing continuous support and development of the team through training and coaching.
  4. Regular Catch-Ups with the Team: Regular catch-ups with your team to engage, empower, motivate, and develop them to maximize engagement, reduce turnover, and promote a strong culture.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience as a Sales Manager: Proven experience as a Sales Manager/Head of Sales with managerial responsibility.
  2. Flexible and Result-Oriented: A flexible, result-oriented, and creative way of operating.
  3. Coaching and Training Experience: Experienced in coaching, managing, and (sales) training.
  4. Motivated by Targets: Motivated by targets and able to enthuse your team to reach those targets.
  5. Initiative and Ownership: An individual that will take initiative and ownership to drive projects that impact their department and the wider Menulog business.
  6. Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: A strong leader and communicator, able to present a vision as well as take people on a journey and empower the team.
  7. Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills: Attention to detail with strong reporting and analytical skills, carrying an understanding of the importance of reporting and an ability to draw actionable insights.
  8. Ability to Communicate and Influence: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  9. Strategic Thinking and Vision: Ability to think strategically and develop, communicate, and implement a compelling vision and plan.
