**All about the role**:
As part of the Country Sales Management you will manage the national acquisition team in order to achieve sales KPI's. This role leads a national field and telesales team of approximately 50. This role requires a proven leader, capable of driving a large team of transactional sellers, strategic projects, cross functional collaboration and annual budget outcomes.
**The main responsibilities of the role will include**:
- Developing and executing the acquisition sales strategy_
- Lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives in line with global strategy and relevancy to the Australian market.
- Manage the sales targets and lead the employees to their individual and communal success.
- Optimise the use and full potential of all sales tools and data insight to drive effective performance in the sales process and the sales team
- Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to the local and global leadership teams on sales activities
- Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to fully activate our restaurant partners to drive brand awareness and order growth in every territory
- Constantly review the effectiveness of the sales strategies, processes and tools, identifying and implementing solutions to problems to ensure maximum productivity and success of the sales team.
- Use data and reporting to analyse the market and competition and to create strategic steps in accordance with this analysis
- Leadership of the ANZ sales acquisition team_
- Manage the Acquisition Sales team consisting of Field and Inside sales ensuring we deliver the businesses supply goals of both quantity and quality of restaurant estate.
- Build, manage, develop and inspire the sales team. Work with your team to plan and prioritise their workloads, set objectives, conduct performance reviews, develop their skills and seek to continually improve their performance, results and engagement.
- Provide ongoing continuous support and development of the team through training and coaching
- Regular catch ups with your team to engage, empower, motivate and develop them to maximise engagement, reduce turnover and promote a strong culture
- Be an active and positive member of the Menulog Leadership group_
- Be a positive member of the leadership group, working in a collaborative fashion with the other department heads to help Menulog achieve the overall company goals.
- Take initiative and ownership of projects, both within and outside of sales, that help with the growth and success of Menulog
- Bring market insights and competitive landscape insight to the leadership team and act as an advocate, driving an overarching growth agenda within the business.
- Collaborate effectively within a matrix organisation, working with key stakeholders across the global JET markets
**Can you deliver**

- Proven experience as a Sales Manager/Head of Sales with managerial responsibility
- A flexible, result and solution-oriented and creative way of operating
- You are experienced in coaching, managing and (sales) training
- You are motivated by targets and you know how to enthuse your team to reach those targets;
- An individual that will take initiative and ownership to drive projects that impact their department and the wider Menulog business.
- A strong leader and communicator, able to present a vision as well as take people on a journey and empower the team.
- Attention to detail with strong reporting and analytical skills, carrying an understanding of the importance of reporting and an ability to draw actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to think strategically and develop, communicate and implement a compelling vision and plan
- Passionate, driven, engaged and hard working individual focussed on achieving strong results and driving the business forward in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional relationship building skills, with the ability to build up a strong rapport across the global JET matrix organisation
