The role of this position is to enhance our safety culture and champion a people-first approach to health, safety, and wellbeing.
About the Role- Elevate safety standards across our distribution network in Australia and New Zealand by implementing strategic health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
- Oversee injury management and workers compensation processes, including early intervention, rehabilitation, and return-to-work coordination
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to empower them to take ownership of safety within their teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored HSW solutions that meet the unique needs of our organization
- Develop and execute comprehensive health, safety, and wellbeing strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Manage risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate potential hazards
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Foster a culture of openness and transparency by promoting reporting of incidents and near-misses
- Minimum 4 years' experience in injury management, including workers compensation, return-to-work coordination, and proactive recovery strategies
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar advisory role, ideally within a warehouse or high-risk industrial environment
- Strong risk management understanding and approach to Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Proven ability to implement change management strategies and drive continuous improvement in safety practices
