Job Description

The Health and Safety Consultant role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing strategies to minimize risks. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

The successful candidate will have expertise in health and safety management systems, risk assessments, and incident investigation. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and maintain a positive health and safety culture
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety, such as a certification or diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
