The position involves leading a team of engineers in the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role requires strong leadership and project management skills to oversee project execution, develop process designs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Charlotte office, where you will contribute to delivering sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, permitting, and construction administration.
- Manage all phases of water/wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction
- Lead the design of treatment facilities, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems
- Oversee project budgets, scopes, schedules, and quality control
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams
- Serve as the primary client contact and develop long-term relationships
- Guide permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance at local, state, and federal levels
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in treatment design and infrastructure projects with demonstrated team management experience
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, pump station design, and utility infrastructure
- Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
