Job Summary

The role of Water/Wastewater Treatment Project Engineer involves contributing to the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, distribution, and collection systems.

This position requires overseeing project execution, developing process designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Assist in designing water and wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, and utility infrastructure.
  • Perform engineering calculations, hydraulic modeling, and process design.
  • Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Support permitting efforts and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings, field investigations, and construction site visits.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, senior engineers, and other technical staff.
  • Help track project progress, budgets, and schedules.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and regulations related to water infrastructure.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • 4+ years of experience in treatment design and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, pump station design, and utility infrastructure.
  • Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Exhibit leadership in planning and/or design concepts and methods.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and lead technical staff.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
