About the Role

As a Community Care Specialist with KinCare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our elderly customers in their own homes. This casual or part-time position requires you to be available for 3 days a week during business hours, typically between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for providing clinical support services, including wound care, catheter care, medication administration, stoma and bowel care, injections, and clinical management. Additionally, you will conduct nursing, continence, and dementia screening assessments, while supporting care plans and providing solutions tailored to each customer's individual needs.

About You
  • AHPRA registration is essential
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum 3 regular days per week availability (between Mon-Fri)
  • A driver's licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
  • The ability to be flexible, resilient, and make strong decisions
  • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly, with at least 1 year experience in Community nursing preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful attributes
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Double COVID vaccinated and willing to undergo a functional assessment
