Role Overview

This is a permanent, part-time role (3 days per week) with hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mature and implement climate action/transition plans and decarbonisation roadmaps to ensure organisational direction and commercial viability.
  • Monitor progress toward climate goals, identify opportunities for emissions reduction and operational improvement, and stay current with evolving climate reporting frameworks and best practices.
  • Conduct annual carbon footprint assessments, oversee data collection, and develop practical, commercially viable solutions aligned with internal governance and external standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in climate reporting processes and outcomes, ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory disclosures in alignment with internal governance and external standards, supporting evidence collection and substantiation for climate disclosures.
  • Oversee assurance processes for climate and sustainability data, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Integrate the Sustainability Report in partnership with stakeholders to advance climate objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership and board governance on climate risks, opportunities, and reporting, informing strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in implementing climate action/transition plans and decarbonisation roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of climate change, sustainable development, and environmental management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
