Sustainability Leader: Climate Change

Shape a sustainable future by spearheading climate action initiatives and driving decarbonisation efforts. This role aims to deliver tangible business and environmental outcomes.

  • Mature and implement the organisation's climate transition plan and decarbonisation roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
  • Monitor progress toward climate goals, identify opportunities for emissions reduction, and drive operational improvement.
  • Conduct regular carbon footprint assessments, oversee data collection, and ensure solutions are practical, commercially viable, and aligned with organisational objectives.

The Sustainability Leader - Climate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in climate reporting processes and outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting requirements. This includes preparing and submitting regulatory disclosures in accordance with internal governance and external standards, supporting evidence collection and substantiation for climate disclosures.

This role will also oversee assurance processes for climate and sustainability data, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure integrity and compliance.

As part of the Community & Sustainability division, the Sustainability Leader - Climate will integrate the Sustainability Report in partnership with the Sustainability Manager - Community Impact, chair and manage the Sustainability Council and advisory groups, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders to advance climate objectives.
