Job Summary:

Hudson Australia is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team in a luxury boutique setting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day management of our boutique, including staff attire, POS system compliance, and boutique ambience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the boutique, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Staff Management: Partner with sales teams to set and achieve ambitious targets, inspire them to align with our brand's vision, and serve as the bridge between boutiques to communicate updates on brand evolution, new arrivals, and pricing.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Oversee the seamless flow of luxury products, managing import, export, and logistics with precision while ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintain and manage stock levels for high-end items and essential boutique supplies and coordinate the delivery of boutique materials and exclusive gifts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and elevate customer satisfaction, working closely with HQ to uphold exceptional service standards. Play a pivotal role in recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating sales talent, and implement cutting-edge training programs to foster operational excellence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams-retail, finance, marketing, CRM, HR-to ensure harmonious operations. Assist in developing and managing sales budgets, provide insightful monthly reports on sales, expenses, and stock levels, and actively participate in monthly operations meetings to offer updates and feedback on ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A degree in management or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or a service-oriented industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Deep understanding of administrative operations with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is essential.
  • Personal Qualities: Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to perform under pressure and deliver outstanding results.
