Job Overview

The Career Development Advisor role focuses on driving inclusive employment outcomes for people with intellectual disability by linking participants to local job opportunities through proactive employer engagement and tailored support.

About The Role

This front-line, target-driven position combines case management with proactive employer outreach to create sustainable employment matches that benefit both the individual and the business. Key responsibilities include building relationships with local employers, working one-on-one with participants to understand goals and develop employment pathways, matching participants to suitable roles and supporting them through recruitment and placement, maintaining accurate records, and meeting performance targets and KPIs.

About You
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services
  • Proven success in a sales or results-driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Understanding of employer needs and the local labor market
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability or other support needs
