Job Title: Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our National Safety Team in managing the company safety management system and promoting work health and safety across multiple facilities.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety to join our team as a WHS Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective WHS strategies and procedures
  • Providing guidance and training to staff on WHS matters
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on WHS incidents and outcomes
  • Collaborating with the National Safety Team to achieve outstanding WHS outcomes
Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Creating and implementing effective WHS policies and procedures
  • Delivering training sessions to staff on WHS best practices
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of WHS incidents and outcomes
  • Working closely with the National Safety Team to drive WHS excellence
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety with demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
