Workplace Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced WHS professional to join our team.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours a fortnight. You will report directly to the NSW Safety Manager and be responsible for supporting the National Safety Team in managing the company’s safety management system (SMS) and promoting work health and safety across four facilities.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S or a related field
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
  • Commitment to achieving excellent outcomes with a strong sense of accountability and customer service
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Experience within the health industry or a large organisation
