About North East Link

The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project—Victoria's largest road project. This package, delivered as a Public Private Partnership, includes twin three-lane tunnels connecting the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads.

This project will alleviate congestion in the north-east while preserving local roads.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Resourcing Lead. As a key member of our workforce solutions team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end recruitment process across the project, ensuring top-tier candidate experiences and strategic hiring for critical roles.

You will lead the development of talent pipelines and internal recruitment processes, fostering internal relationships and delivering recruitment strategies that reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recruitment excellence by driving the end-to-end recruitment process across the project, ensuring top-tier candidate experiences and strategic hiring for critical roles.
  • Manage and develop an existing small team covering workforce / blue collar recruitment as well as white collar and executive recruitment.
  • Manage your own portfolio of active roles within the Project, running end-to-end recruitment and running regular stakeholder meetings/progress discussions.
  • Collaborate with Spark Project leadership to offer strategic advice on project planning, recruitment governance, and continuous improvement of workforce development programs.
  • Champion social outcomes through active involvement in our social procurement and candidate engagement strategy, including creating opportunities for priority job seekers, Aboriginal businesses, and social enterprises.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in recruitment, preferably in construction, engineering or Project specific resourcing strategy.
  • Strong background in talent pipelining and internal recruitment processes.
  • Expertise in fostering internal relationships and delivering recruitment strategies that reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Benefits

As a Resourcing Lead, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest civil infrastructure projects, contributing to Victoria's largest infrastructure project.
