
Strategic Operations Leader

This role provides operational leadership to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will develop and implement effective operating models, ensure strong accountability checks, and lead the change management process to embed new systems and processes.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and implementing a fit-for-purpose operating model that supports efficient business practices;
- Spearheading program design and delivery to ensure scalability, quality, and client satisfaction;
- Leading a team of finance, admin, and policy professionals to achieve organisational goals;
- Collaborating with senior leaders to align operational plans with strategic objectives;
- Developing and implementing performance management frameworks to measure success;
- Embedding a culture of continuous improvement to drive organisational excellence;
- Maintaining high-level relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
- Fostering a culture of innovation and creativity to drive business growth.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Leadership experience in an NFP organisation with grant acquittal expertise;
- Demonstrated business services organisation skills in designing quality systems and governance frameworks;
- A background in programme evaluation, project management, or related fields;
- Relevant qualifications in business operations, programme evaluation, or project management are essential;
- Demonstrated experience in programme design, delivery, and evaluation;
- Strong organisational performance management and reporting skills, including business planning, performance monitoring and analysis, and reporting;
- High-level strategic thinking, project planning skills, and the ability to assist others to adapt to change;
- Ability to travel inter/intrastate as required.
