Are you a talented and motivated engineer looking for a challenging role in a leading mining operation? We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management team at one of Australia's premier open cut coal mines.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical or electrical trade qualification, a tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, and proven experience with heavy mobile equipment maintenance in an open cut mining environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Analyzing equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Leveraging data insights and sound engineering principles to develop and optimize asset strategies, including condition monitoring and life cycle plans
  • Providing engineering support to the Off-Site Repairs team, including repair scope development and review
  • Collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, OEMs, and specialist contractors to implement sustainable solutions
  • Championing reliability best practice and building capability across the business

Key Requirements
  • Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
