About the Role

The Rooms Controller is a key member of our Front Office team, responsible for ensuring a high level of service is maintained for our guests. This role requires a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to work effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily handovers to review room assignments and guest requests
  • Load and lodge maintenance requests into our system
  • Review and action emails and reports from various departments
  • Update guest profiles and VIP status
  • Assign and allocate rooms based on business needs and guest requests
  • Assist at the Front Desk as needed
Requirements
  • At least one year's experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with OPERA PMS
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Availability to work a rotating, 7-day roster
