About the RoleThis position offers a diverse experience across the spectrum of occupational rehabilitation. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work collaboratively with clients, employers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop tailored solutions for injury prevention and workplace education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage caseloads effectively, leveraging the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to minimize administrative tasks;
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes through evidence-based practice;
- Collaborate with employers and employees to design and implement injury prevention and workplace education initiatives;
- Work closely with injured workers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to facilitate return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes;
- Conduct assessments, including initial, worksite, and vocational assessments, to support individuals in achieving their health, work, and life goals;
- Promote injury prevention and management through consultancy services, such as group mental health training and general health and wellbeing education sessions.

Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling are essential;
- Full membership with ASORC is required;
- Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;

- Compassion, empathy, and kindness are essential qualities for success in this role;
- Effective time management skills are crucial for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
