IPAR is a national provider of occupational rehabilitation services, supporting individuals who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury. Our care is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
This role offers a broad and varied experience across the spectrum of occupational rehabilitation, working with clients to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs. You will have the autonomy to manage your own day while being supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Case management, including developing and implementing return-to-work plans;
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with employers, employees, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement workplace education programs;
- Assisting injured workers to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes;
- Conducting assessments, including initial assessments, worksite assessments, and vocational assessments;
- Providing education and training on workplace safety and injury prevention.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling;
- Full ASORC Membership;
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
- Fabulous communication skills, including empathy and compassion;
- Well-developed time management skills;
- A current Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
