This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in driving strategy and operations for a division with over 280 staff. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional operational acumen, commercial expertise, and a deep understanding of what drives organisational impact.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, mentoring direct reports, and fostering a culture of excellence within their portfolio. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for representing the organisation with clarity and confidence in various forums.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive divisional performance and growth
  • Mentor and guide direct reports to ensure individual and team success
  • Strengthen systems and accountability to enhance risk maturity and operational consistency
  • Represent the organisation in regulatory and funding forums with credibility and authority
  • Collaborate with other leaders to shape organisational strategy and drive impact
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience at executive level in community services or a related sector
  • Strong capability in leading through change and building team capability
  • Proven ability to engage with regulators, government funders, and boards with credibility and presence
  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex stakeholder environments
