Training Coordinator Job Description

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting both planning and operations teams by delivering an onsite training program.

The ideal candidate will ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to work efficiently, confidently, and safely. Key responsibilities include facilitating engaging new-hire orientation, site tours, and classroom-based training, as well as delivering and coordinating material handling equipment (MHE) training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging new-hire orientation, site tours, and classroom-based training
  • Deliver and coordinate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training
  • Own and manage the training matrix, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Process onboarding documentation and manage team member availability within rosters
  • Support floor trainers and help develop a new cross-training matrix
  • Monitor and report on training compliance across all departments (e.g., VOCs, standard work)
  • Coordinate refresher sessions and support training needs analysis
  • Assist in the creation of standard work instructions and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Partner with the Planning Manager on job rotation programs for front-line workers
  • Support operations in resourcing and agency engagement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a training coordination or similar role, preferably within warehousing, logistics, or FMCG
  • Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills
  • Confidence delivering training to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with MHE, WMS, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach
