Job Summary

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in the growth of our business by providing policy, regulations, and procedures for seaworthiness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Draft and support regulatory documents, guidance material, and acceptable means of compliance.
  • Analyse and solve problems with a proactive approach.
  • Coordinate with Senior Engineers to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions.
  • Review engineering documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide engineering insights in meetings with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor qualification in marine engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in maritime engineering or regulatory field.
  • Australian Government Security clearance.
  • Familiarity with work health and safety and environmental compliance.
  • Knowledge of Australian and International maritime conventions and laws.
