Director of Intensive Family Support Program

We are seeking a skilled Program Director to lead our Intensive Family Support program, which provides voluntary in-home family support to families at risk of entering or re-entering the Child Protection System. Our goal is to strengthen families so children can live safely and free from abuse and neglect.

The successful candidate will have experience managing programs in the Community Services sector and building/maintaining high-performing teams. They will be passionate about continuous improvement and implementing industry best practice into service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing service improvements and practice excellence to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families
  • Maximising outcomes for staff, carers, young people and their families through collaboration and capitalising on the practice experience and strengths across TBS
  • Fostering and supporting a positive, collaborative and outcome-focused team culture
  • Providing advice and assistance to team members in assessments of risk, safety planning and trauma-informed decision-making for carers, young people and their families
  • Leading the team to complete day-to-day case management tasks and provide carer supervision and support to carers who provide care to young people
