Cytiva is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the commercial discussion with key customers on our overall offering. This role requires expert navigation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams as well as key technical partners at both management and engineering levels.
As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to drive in-depth commercial discussions with customers in gene and cell therapy manufacturing process design decisions support. You will build a strong pipeline of opportunities across the region for Process Development, Flex Factories, Aseptic filling, complex hardware or customized hardware and other services across Asia Pacific.
You will ensure collaboration in all parts of the Cytiva commercial organization, building internal stakeholders and Account Management synergy to continually increase customer qualification, as well as accelerating the development of sales opportunities. Responsible for driving optimal operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities in the pipeline, including design-in initiatives, as well as forecasting performance against Operating Plan.
Responsibilities:- Lead the commercial discussion with key customers on our overall offering
- Work closely with internal teams to drive in-depth commercial discussions with customers
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across the region
- Ensure collaboration in all parts of the Cytiva commercial organization
- Drive optimal operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities
- 10+ years' experience in engineering/biopharma
- Proven commercial track record in multiple Bioprocessing modalities
- Strong manufacturing and engineering knowledge including quality and regulatory understanding of the Bioprocessing modalities
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers
- Demonstrated high-level presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel – up to 50% of time, within ANZ and internationally
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
