Job Title: HSEQ Professional

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our HSEQ activities across New South Wales and Queensland, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company policies, and legislation.

This role requires a strong background in quality management, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimize product impact and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimize held stock levels.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
  • Work closely with customers/suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in HSEQ roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in ISO 9001, GMP, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience in managing customer/supplier complaints and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO 4801, 45001, and regulatory compliance in workplace health and safety.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor teams in quality and safety.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive HSEQ improvements.
  • Certifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Risk Assessment, and Document Control.
  • Desirable: Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) and HACCP certification.
