Hseq Manager

Job Description

The successful HSEQ Manager will lead the development and implementation of our Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management systems to ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and environmental requirements. This involves conducting thorough investigations into occupational health and environmental incidents, leading internal and external audits for workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.

This position also entails developing comprehensive training programs on management systems and workplace health and safety practices. The ideal candidate should have experience in WHSEQ supervisory or management roles, formal tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines, and relevant certifications such as a Diploma in OH&S Management.

A strong working knowledge of OHS Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems is essential. Experience in construction, property management, or facility management industries is highly valued.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in WHSEQ supervisor or manager role
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business, or similar discipline
  • Diploma in OH&S Management, or a Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Certificate IV in WHS Management
  • Proven experience in conducting safety audits
  • Working knowledge of WHS Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems
  • Experience in construction, property management, or facility management industries
