Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our Metering Operations team with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality expertise. The role will involve providing operational HSEQ support and advice, fostering a strong safety culture, and mentoring field crews through onsite presence and guidance.

The successful candidate will have a Cert IV, OHS or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industry and risk profile, utilities and metering experience highly desirable, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide local level operational HSEQ support and advice
  • Foster a strong safety culture and mentor field crews through onsite presence and guidance
  • Work as an active business partner with key stakeholders at all levels in the business to help deliver improved business performance
  • Deliver ongoing continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and culture in line with business wide HSEQ strategies
Requirements:
  • Cert IV, OHS or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industry and risk profile
  • Utilities and metering experience highly desirable
  • Strong communicator with stakeholder engagement and investigation skills
