Job Opportunity: Lead Dementia Services Team


About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a lead professional in dementia services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support to individuals living with dementia and their carers.

The role involves providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team, working closely with stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to service delivery, and contributing to the development of strategic plans and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver tailored support to clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct consultation and support to clients as required.
  • Recruit and develop staff with the necessary skills and expertise to meet program needs.
  • Manage customer complaints and challenging situations effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Allied Health or health-related degree.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in supporting older people and carers living with dementia, with particular emphasis on psycho-social approaches to case management.
  • Ability to manage and support a team of skilled professionals across multiple sites and locations.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
