Company Overview

Astrum, a global provider of Industrial Products and Services sold into the Rail Industry, is seeking a highly experienced Director of Sales to lead their business in APAC based in Sydney.

Job Description

The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing the business in a profitable manner while maintaining the highest customer relationships and service levels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading new business and service business sales across the Mobility/Rail Division
  • Developing and implementing sales and service strategies
  • Ensuring customer support through smooth operations of service workshops and field service
  • Responsible for achieving Rail targets (KPIs) such as order intake, profitability, inventory, and CE
  • Setting and implementing sales and business strategy/planning aligned with other regions, product management, and key account management
  • Driving sales excellence by defining and controlling sales and service KPIs

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a graduate engineering background with 7-10 years' experience preferably in the Railway industry or similar. They should also have experience as a sales leader preferably in Rail or similar, strong communication skills, ability to communicate complex technical topics professionally effectively, customer focus, and strong sales/business development management experience. Strong time management, planning, and organization skills are essential.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
