Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge Security Officer to join our team at Certis Security Australia. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and sign in visitors, and provide assistance with inquiries and requests.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to general inquiries, and forward calls to relevant team members as needed.
- Book and manage meeting rooms through our online system.
- Assist with CCTV footage requests and conduct floor checks to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' properties.
- Conduct car park patrols and provide escorts for guests and contractors.
- Provide regular updates to our clients on the progress of service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with our clients and their representatives.
- Effectively handle complaints from clients, ensuring all issues are analyzed, resolved, and recorded to a mutually satisfactory outcome.
- Enhance team performance by suggesting process improvements that lead to resolution of team issues.
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to existing services or the introduction of new services in line with our company's objectives.
- Write legible and informative incident reports, hazard reports, and shift logs.
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or corporate environment.
- Experience in incident management, such as fire alarm responses, difficult persons, access control breaches, and incidents involving emergency services.
- Baseline, NV1, or NV2 AGVSA Government Clearance, which is a must.
- Current ACT Security License.
- Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Australian Citizenship due to Government Clearance requirements.
- Current ACT Drivers License.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
