The role of a Security Officer can be performed in various sectors and roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties and serves as a guide.
- Permanent Full-Time positions;
- 24/7 Rotating Roster available;
- Level penalties + overtime.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a security presence while remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team. Your duties will include:
- Concierge/commercial building security;
- Access control and monitoring CCTV;
- Responding professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer inquiries;
- Directing and escorting visitors to the site;
- Visitor sign-in/induction and maintaining key registers and issuing keys;
- Conducting foot patrols internally and externally.
Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security license;
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Open driver's license;
- Customer service experience;
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Immunisation history or willingness to obtain necessary vaccinations;
- Australian Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
