About the RoleThis exciting role offers the opportunity to utilize your security expertise in an Embassy setting, contributing to the safety and security of personnel on embassy grounds. As a Security Officer, you will provide exceptional customer service through your proactive, professional, and sound approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in protective activities with diplomatic staff and VIP safeguarding
- Monitoring CCTV footage and radio communication systems
- Providing first aid and liaising with emergency response services
- Reviewing camera footage and writing reports
- Conducting foot patrols throughout the premises
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security license
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Open driver's license
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High standards of presentation and grooming
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US clearance
- High level of fitness due to the physical nature of the role
