Market Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Manager to play a key role in managing market risk across the company and ensuring stability and success of our trading operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing market-related risks to safeguard the company's financial stability. They will work closely with the Trading, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure a strong risk management framework and culture is in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of derivative markets including options.
  • Proficiency with risk management tools and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to assess financial impacts of market fluctuations and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks to support consistent risk appetite across the company.

We require someone with a finance relevant degree and proven experience in market risk management ideally including trading experience. Bonus points for effective communication, time management, and interpersonal skills as well as understanding of algorithmic risk management and 3+ years of experience building trading models.
