Market Risk Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage market risk across various portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial instruments, risk metrics, and market risk management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure and maximize returns.
  • Analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Leverage technical skills to create tools for portfolio reviews and produce in-depth analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and represent the organization on critical matters.
  • Lead and develop a team of risk professionals to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of financial markets, instruments, and risk metrics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical, technical, and quantitative skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to drive stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in market risk management, with a strong track record of success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Management (FRM) designation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SQL, and programming/modeling languages.
  • Experience in leading high-performing teams and driving business outcomes.
