Accounting and Administration Specialist for Melbourne VIC

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong communication skills to join our PAM VIC Finance Team as a Finance Administrator for a bustling shopping centre in Melbourne's inner suburbs.

This is a fixed-term contract for parental leave cover. The successful candidate will ensure client property accounts are prepared and verified to agreed standards while providing crucial financial and office administration support.

The role involves processing high-volume accounts payable invoices, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing vendor management processes in MRI. You will also be responsible for identifying and processing rental and deposit payments on bank statements, collecting and preparing monthly sales reports for centre managers, and monitoring and updating tenant Public Liability insurance records in our system.

Additionally, you will assist the Corporate Finance team with processing direct recoverable invoices and facilitating approvals, coordinate recharging of direct expenses to tenants, and support the Finance Manager with Lease Administration, annual outgoings audits, and annual budgets.

You will work independently, meeting tight deadlines and multitasking with exceptional ability. Experience with real estate accounting systems (preferably MRI) is highly desirable. You will also need to adapt to various work processes and systems.
