We have multiple homes and thousands of residents and employees across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania. Our home care services are available in various states, and we have over 700 units in retirement villages and independent living communities.
The Role:
We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide competent personal care and support to residents under the guidance of the senior clinical team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents in maintaining independence and dignity by providing personal care for activities of daily living and lifestyle.
- Deliver meals and refreshments as required.
- Record observations on relevant assessment charts and document any exceptions to the care plan in progress notes.
- Check residents' daily menu requirements.
- Perform allocated and delegated duties by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.
Requirements:
- A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- A relevant Certificate III Qualification.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in residential aged care.
