Job Overview

The Reporting & Analytics Specialist role is responsible for managing the delivery of dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analysis along with actionable insights.

  • Leading a team of sales analysts involves providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful project outcomes.
Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Manage the delivery and refresh of reporting & analytics team dashboards and reporting; both scheduled and adhoc to agreed service level agreements and timeframes.
  • Develop and execute a reporting & analytics strategy in enterprise data management platforms.
  • Evaluate existing or create new technical solution designs to meet changing business/functional requirements.
  • Ensure documentation of business-as-usual processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities, working with sales analysts to implement necessary changes.
  • Review developed reports and provide analysis and insights on trends and issues requiring management attention.
Business & Stakeholder Support
  • Review existing business-as-usual reports and data sources to assist the business in extracting insights for leadership teams, regional sales teams, and external dealer networks.
  • Manage business intelligence working group monthly meetings and regional sales analyst monthly meetings.
  • Deliver dashboard training where required for regional teams and head office team members.
  • Experience with data mining, analytics, spreadsheet modeling, and forecast techniques supports leading team discussions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and VBA, are essential.
  • Advanced experience in SQL and Databricks is also required.
  • Advanced Power BI skills are necessary for this role.
  • Leadership experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
