About The Role:
Public Sector People is recruiting multiple AO3 Service Officer positions. These are temporary contracts with potential for extension. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate and take action to recover outstanding revenue and finalise debts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle email and phone correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively negotiate and take necessary actions to recover debts.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate revenue recovery.
- Accurately input, manage, and retrieve data across multiple office systems.
- Assist with audit, compliance, and other duties as required.
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve departmental goals.
About You:
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, debt collection, or government support roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on negotiation and problem resolution.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Confidence using various computer systems to navigate and analyse information.
- Ability to work in a team, manage competing deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
