About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead our Linfox Resources & Industrial business across multiple operations in New South Wales.

This role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust, and inclusion. You will work closely with our largest Industrial clients to develop and execute business and site plans, embedding a risk-based approach to keep people safe physically and mentally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive system focused on risk, health, compliance, and customer expectations, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training, and workshops, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Investigate serious incidents, provide expert advice, and ensure regulatory compliance, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Measure and report performance trends and outcomes, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
Your Skills and Experience
  • A strong background in safety, health, and wellbeing, with experience in leadership roles or other risk-based positions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying and mitigating risks unique to the transport, warehousing, and resources industry.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Proven ability to facilitate engaging workshops and lead incident investigations, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with work health and safety legislation, with a keen understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences.

Estimated salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
