Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Safety Professional to join our team as a Drug Safety Associate. This role will be responsible for supporting the management of pharmacovigilance activities, including collection, review, and reporting of adverse events.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacovigilance, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities- Support the management of all pharmacovigilance activities, including collection, review, follow-up, and reporting of adverse events in accordance with location regulations and SOPs.
- Prepare reports for spontaneous adverse events of marketed products.
- Track compliance for adverse event reporting timeframes.
- Assist management with identifying trends and issues arising from reports from the local safety database.
- Review local and global SOPs and pharmacovigilance guidelines.
- Review and implement affiliate pharmacovigilance staff training matrix and conduct training for affiliate personnel.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the PV Team Lead.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science.
- At least 2 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
- A minimum of 18 months Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Strong communicator.
- Excellent project management and teamwork skills.
- Organizational skills and capability of working efficiently autonomously with cross-functional teams.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
Competitive salary: AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
