The role of an Allocator involves ensuring the effective distribution of inventory across stores. Working closely with Planners and Visual Merchandisers, this position is critical in delivering successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess numerical skills, analytical thinking, and experience in retail.

This role requires a unique blend of skills to balance store stock levels, profile stores for optimal allocations, and manage stock distribution processes efficiently. If you are driven to build your career within Retail Merchandise Planning, we encourage you to apply.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain accurate store stock levels.
  • Profile stores to optimize allocations based on sales, size, gridding, and demographics.
  • Establish initial store allocations for new ranges.
  • Review and analyze weekly sales information.
  • Manage stock distribution processes.
  • Process markdowns, promotions, and consolidations.
  • Support the Merchandise Planning Team as required.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous allocations experience (not essential).
