Based at our Support Office in Malvern and reporting to the Planning Manager, this is a fantastic entry point for someone eager to break into the world of planning.
You'll be responsible for managing daily stock functions, ensuring the right stock levels are maintained across stores and the Distribution Centre to maximise sales.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to: Analysis and reporting of sales and stock performance Ensure stock levels are maintained by monitoring and replenishing stock levels in our DC and stores for both indent and BSR/Replenishment lines Manage the replenishment system at a style and size level Conduct monthly reviews of in store stock levels against DC stock levels Ensure deliveries are within agreed time frames into stores Reporting of any known stock shortages / surpluses upon delivery Manage timing, process & logistics of the stock take function for all stores and DCConduct periodic stock takes when required in retail stores and DCManage stock take variation reporting to balance book and count quantities Analyse stock on hand reporting to determine which items need to be consolidated in accordance with company policy Manage transfers, in transit reporting and investigate aged items Customer and store queries To be successful in this role you will have: Experience working within a retail environment Highly developed analytical and practical skills and a quick study in new systems Proficient to intermediate skills in Excel Willingness to launch and streamline new and existing procedures and systems Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to team members at all levels.
