We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Law Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with expertise in financial services law, regulatory environments, government policy, or commercial law. You will be responsible for providing high-level legal and strategic advice on financial markets regulation and shaping policy and regulatory outcomes that enhance market integrity and consumer protection.
Key Responsibilities- Draft legal instruments and process applications for regulatory relief.
- Develop legal templates and assist in contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
You have tertiary qualifications in law and relevant experience in financial services law, regulatory environments, government policy, or commercial law. Your technical expertise includes an understanding of the Market Integrity Rules, Corporations Act, and the obligations imposed on Australian Financial Services Licensees and Australian Market Licensees.
Beyond your technical expertise, you are a strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You work effectively in complex regulatory environments, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to deliver timely, high-quality advice.
