The Market Infrastructure team is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of Australia's financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing suitability and ongoing appropriateness of financial products admitted to public markets involves making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Research and analysis on market developments and emerging issues inform regulatory priorities, law reform, and guidance.
  • Drafting clear, accurate, and structured reports, submissions, presentations, and internal advice on regulatory matters is essential.
  • Analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data informs regulatory judgments and monitors sector trends.
  • Effective engagement with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulated entities and other regulators, requires coordination and contribution.
About You:

You will hold tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, economics, or law, bringing experience working as an analyst in a regulatory, corporate, consulting, or academic setting. A foundational understanding of exchange-traded financial products—such as cash equities, futures, and OTC derivatives—and financial market infrastructure is desirable.
